Apache CloudStack is an incubating project with the Apache Software Foundation. It was proposed, and accepted, as a podling in April of this year.
CloudStack is open source software for building Infrastructure-as-a-Service clouds, and has been widely adopted and deployed by enterprise IT shops and service providers for building out private, hybrid, and public clouds.
As an Apache podling, CloudStack has enjoyed contributions from a diverse community of contributors, and we look forward to welcoming new contributors and users with the release of Apache CloudStack 4.0.
The Collab Conference is an opportunity to gather users, integrators, and contributors together to share knowledge and work together face-to-face as part of the planning cycle for 2013. While this does not take the place of planning on the official Apache mailing lists, the Collab Conference will enhance the process and give the community the opportunity to work closely together and build relationships with other contributors.
The Collab Conference is being sponsored by Citrix, The Apache Software Foundation, and many other interested parties. We'd like to thank each organization for making a contribution to the success of Apache CloudStack.
